In an investors note, RBC Capital Market analyst Mike Abramsky indicated that he expects Apple will soon offer the iPhone 3GS for freeāor rather, for $0 with a qualifying service contact.

Apple lovers, it seems to me, are pretty hungry for their favorite company to finally achieve world domination. Diehard Apple fans have been around for a long time, and seeing Apple finally get some serious attention is gratifying. So some of the rumors about Apple producing a free or entry-level iPhone come September are just wishful thinking.
