You can trade in your iPhone 4 for a pretty good chunk of change — enough, in some cases, to cover the likely cost of the new iPhone 5. But what you get for the old one will depend on where you do your trade, and of course, the condition of your phone.

With the iPhone 5 being unveiled next week, the rumor mill is working overtime. In fact, even the invitation for the Oct. 4 event, which reads "Let's talk iPhone," has sprouted rumors that the new model will offer new voice-recognition features that could transform the way smartphone interaction works.

This time next week, the iPhone 5 rumor frenzy will be over and we'll finally know what Apple plans to release. But until then, we still have several days to wildly speculate about what the next-gen iPhone will include.
