The relationship Apple shares with Cingular/AT&T over the iPhone is designed to be win-win for both companies. Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster took a closer look at the relationship and the economics of the iPhone. Although most of the information about the economics of the Apple/Cingular deal are secret, there are bits of information that help build a bigger picture.
